The world-famous Walnut Room is the first restaurant to ever open inside a department store. It's still located inside of Macy's on State Street. While you're there, be sure to try the classic Mrs. Hering's Chicken Pot Pie. The flakey, warm, comfort dish packed with flavor has been on the menu since 1890.
