A guide to budget-friendly Twin Cities travel

Even though the twin cities are a part of the Metropolitan state, there are still ways to manage budget-friendly Twin Cities travel.

Mentioned below are some pocket-friendly things you would enjoy in the Twin Cities area:

The Grand Rounds

Famous for their lush green parks, both the Twin cities stood in the first place while competing for the Public Land's Urban Park System Rankings. The most appealing of all the parks is the Grand Rounds, which offers multiple tracks to explore, accompanied by beautiful byways. Entry to all these tracks is free of cost. All you’ll need are snacks to munch and drinks to keep yourself hydrated.

Minnehaha Park

With a stunning waterfall view from the gorge and a trail that leads you to the beach, Minnehaha Park is the best cheaptravel destination. This park is a spot of heaven on Earth. Mostly when visited in fall, the parks exhibit amazing colors in fall foliage. A destination that is the best option for a cheap vacation for two will leave a positive impact on your love life.

Lake of Isles

Lake of Isles can also prove to be a destination for your cheap weekend trip. The lake of Isles is one breathtaking view to look at. Additionally, the southwest side of the lake has a great skyline view to offer. The spot is cherished by natives, athletes, and celebrities as well.

Lake Harriet

Lake Harriet offers excellent views of the water. However, it is mainly a large wooded area connected to the water- with a small beach, a lush green grassy shore, and an outpost. This would be a great spot to enjoy the company of your loved ones. So, pick up a picnic basket and enjoy a cheap vacation for two.

Theodore Wirth Park

Covering an ample space of the northwest borders of the Twin Cities, the park is full of small lakes, a stretch of wetlands, and hosts a 27-hole golf course. Wirth Park is an entertaining spot on your budget-friendly Twin Cities Travel as it also offers miles of wooded land for walking, running, biking, and hiking. A fun place to keep yourself entertained, the ridge in the park is the highest point of the city, and it offers a bird’s eye view of the Twin Cities.

West River Parkway

On the north side of Minnehaha Park is the West River Parkway. It has separate ways for travelers on foot, on bikes, and driving lanes as well. The Parkway runs almost parallel to the Mississippi River; hence it offers a great view. Experience a sunset or a sunrise with such a fantastic view would be a memorable experience from your inexpensive vacations.

Como Park

This park in St Paul isn’t free, but it isn’t too expensive. It features several trails that are a few miles long and a zoo that boasts various animal species.

Majorie Macneely Conservatory

Adjacent to the Como Park and Zoo is a haven for nature lovers who appreciate Flora. The conservatory hosts lots of well-kept plants and is fostered to represent beautiful gardens, and some are kept in climate-controlled greenhouses.
