Arabia steamboat museum

A steamboat carrying 400,000 pounds of provisions bound for general stores in the Midwest drowned in the Missouri River on September 5, 1856, just six miles from Kansas, Missouri. The boat's remains and freight were encased in dirt and stored as if in a vast time capsule as the course of the great river changed due to erosion. The outcome is a vast array of pre-Civil War items, many of which are reminders of the objects and food that the colonists used regularly. Union station

Union Station, which opened in 1914, has a capacity of tens of thousands of passengers. A waiting room with a capacity of 10,000 people was added. The station was closed in the 1980s, reopened in 1999 with stores, restaurants, and other facilities after undergoing substantial renovations. Since it now serves as an Amtrak station, it has a reduced train service. It also houses Science City, the Regnier Extreme Screen Theater, the Arvin Gottlieb Planetarium, and City Stage Theater, among other attractions. Exhibits cover a wide range of scientific topics and are immersive, allowing participants to explore hands-on learning. The Dino Lab, where younger children will learn about paleontology by unearthing their findings, will enthrall them, and the genetics lab will interest the whole family.
